Klantbeoordeling 9,6/10
Designed for road cars, touring cars and historic racing simulations, the HGP provides seven forward gears plus reverse in a conventional H-pattern layout. The housing is CNC-machined from anodised aviation-grade aluminium, while a non-contact angle sensor detects each shift position. Direct USB and compatible MOZA wheelbase connections are included for flexible PC installation.
Why choose this product?
- The 7+R gate covers a wide range of manual transmissions, with protected engagement for seventh gear and reverse to reduce accidental selection.
- The optional automatic throttle-blip function can smooth downshifts and is configurable or fully disabled in MOZA Pit House.
Product details
Aluminium H-pattern mechanism
The HGP body is CNC-machined from anodised aviation-grade aluminium for a rigid mounting platform and defined shift movement. The pattern provides seven forward positions and one reverse position. The shift knob is replaceable, allowing a compatible aftermarket knob to be used when a different shape or height is preferred.
15-bit sensing and downshift assistance
A non-contact 15-bit angle sensor identifies the selected gear without relying on a contacting potentiometer. MOZA's intelligent downshift throttle-blip system can apply an automatic throttle input during downshifts. The function is optional and can be enabled, disabled or adjusted in MOZA Pit House, so drivers who prefer manual heel-and-toe technique can leave it off.
Mounting and connection
The shifter measures 100 × 140 × 250 mm, weighs 1.8 kg and uses M6 threaded mounting holes. It can connect directly to a PC with the included 1.8 m USB-B to USB-A cable or to a supported current MOZA wheelbase with the included 1.5 m RJ11 cable. A separate desk clamp or cockpit mounting plate is required when the rig does not already provide compatible mounting holes.
Compatibility
Platform: PC through direct USB connection.
Connection and ecosystem: Direct USB to PC or RJ11 connection to a supported current MOZA wheelbase with a compatible shifter port.
Requirements: A rigid mounting position is required. Desk-clamp hardware is not included, and console compatibility is not claimed for the shifter as a standalone product.
